Vaccinate the Great Lakes State

These funds can be used on innovative or existing programming based on the strategies below:

• Community Vaccination Mobilization and Outreach Events (virtual/in person)
• Vaccination communication strategies and educational materials.
• Removal of barriers for vaccination
• Provision of incentives to entice vaccinations.

With the pandemic disproportionality impacting certain populations, organizations serving the Priority Populations below will be prioritized:

• Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC)
• Undocumented or Under-documented
• Rural area residents
• Persons with Disabilities
• LGBTQ+ Individuals
• Youth
• Those living below the ALICE threshold
• Those in highly congregated areas such as correctional facilities etc.

Organizations that are recognized under Section 501c (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or that have a fiscal sponsor that is a 501c (3) nonprofit organization and serve Kalamazoo County or Greater Battle Creek residents are eligible to apply for grants.
